Welcome to My "Cyber-Home"
Playing for head coach Nick Nimath as a freshman on the Gulf Breeze High School Dolphins...starter at nose gaurd... Played with the NYSA Navarre Raiders 2002 season... starter at full back and corner back... Had a 5/5 season...the best season the Raiders have ever had... PERSONAL: Joshua Camacho... 6'1' 210lbs... 15 year old Freshman... born 07-21-90 in Connecticut... son of Domingo Camacho and Vilma I. Montes-Soto... has three brothers, Gerard, Israel, Nathaniel, and a sister, Natalie... Joshua Camacho, Gulf Breeze High School Freshman, hopes he gets the opportunities to play the game he loves... "Football". From his start as a Navarre Raider corner back he knew that he had found his place and that his future was in playing this game. This 6'1" (210lbs) high school freshman is hoping for many great seasons as he starts at nose guard and right tackle for the Gulf Breeze High School Dolphins which could lead to a career in the NFL one day. "My dream is to play in the NFL and I think there's a good shot at it if I continue to develop both my mind and body," Camacho said. "I need to play consistently, especially in games where I can apply what I'm learning from my coaches and fellow, more experienced, players". "I need to show the coaches that I can play against some of the tuff players." The Dolphins Freshman team, open their season at home with a scrimmage, at the Gulf Breeze High School stadium, against JV on Friday night, August 12th, 2005. Camacho was offered a spot on JV but decided to stay on the freshman team in order to develop as a well rounded team player his first season. "Not playing on JV my first year is a good thing. This time will allow me to adjust to high school life and will really help with my academics," said Camacho, who is working hard on a 3.13 grade-point average. ( on a 4.0 scale) Camacho started in the last five games of the Navarre Raiders' 2002 season to earn the praises of coaches and fans, ending their season with 5 wins and 5 loses. "High School football is pretty much a year-round sport. I've been in the weight room quite a bit this summer," said Camacho about the workouts that have increased his body weight from 190 pounds when he played for the Raiders. "My bench press is up about 60 pounds over last year and my squat even more. Most of squatting is technique and the older you get the better your technique seems to get." According to Camacho, he ranks himself among the best lineman. "I'm pretty strong for my age with pretty good feet and quickness, I think I could become an asset to the team, the coaches, and myself. " Camacho said.
